From Vunivutu to a Life of Service and Accomplishments | Mr. Jag Ram, 84 | PAAL Ep. 1

Mr. Jag Ram, 84: a villager from Fiji, a life in the civil service, and the many lives he lifted along the way. In PAAL's first episode, we sit with Mr. Jag Ram, a retired senior civil servant from Fiji who has called Australia home for the last 20 years. His life didn't come easy. He speaks openly about the struggles and setbacks he faced, and about how he learned to treat each one as experience, even as an opportunity, to build the path that brought him here. Just as importantly, it's a story about giving back. Much of what he achieved opened doors for others from the small village where he grew up. There's a lifetime in his story, and these 47 minutes are only a part of it. We hope it's the first of many conversations. Recorded in [Fiji Hindi and English / Fiji Hindi with English subtitles], the way it was always told.
